4. What personal information do we collect and how do we collect it?

When you visit our website, there is some information which you give us, and some which we collect on you:

Our website uses cookies to better the users experience while visiting the website. Where applicable this website uses a cookie control system allowing the user on their first visit to the website to allow or disallow the use of cookies on their computer / device. 6. Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. We shall use your personal information to provide the service to you. This will include using and analysing your personal information to arrange services, match you with the right tutors, interviewers or students, and train our staff to deliver services effectively.
We may use your personal information to: develop and improve our service; to send you administrative e-mails about the service; and to contact you to answer any queries you may have.
Where you consent (by opting in on sign up forms), we may use your personal information to contact you by e-mail about our products and/or services that we think will be of interest to you.

What is our legal basis?

It is necessary for us to use your personal information to provide the service to you and perform our obligations in accordance with any contract that we may have with you, including our Terms and Conditions. It is also in our legitimate interest to use your personal information in such a way to ensure that we provide the very best service we can to you. Where we process your sensitive personal data, we shall be relying on your consent to do so.
We also hold your data to comply with other statutory obligations relating to Child Protection.

8. Children

You are required to be at least 15 years old to use our services so we do not intentionally collect personal information from anyone under 15, and no one under 15 should attempt to submit any personal information to us. Should we discover that any such personal information has been delivered to any of the sites, we will remove that personal information as soon as possible.

9. How long do we keep your personal information for?

We keep your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for. In particular we keep your personal information as long as we need to fully deliver the service and may keep it for longer where we have a legal basis to do so. In general, we will keep personal information for up to three years following from the provision of the service, to comply with Child Protection legislation. We will delete sensitive data as soon as the service has been delivered.

The consent that we seek is fundamental to the provision of our services as a whole - which relies on the processing of a range of personal information in order to provide a customised service to each user. For this reason we are unable to provide our services if this consent is not given, and must cease providing our services if it is withdrawn.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will seek your consent in order to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data. You have the following rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you:

Your right of access: If you ask us, we’ll confirm whether we’re processing your personal information and, if so, provide you with a copy of that personal information (along with certain other details). If you require additional copies, we may need to charge a reasonable fee.
Your right to rectification: If the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you’re entitled to have it rectified. If we’ve shared your personal information with others, we’ll let them know about the rectification where possible. We may make changes to this privacy notice from time to time: To ensure that you are always aware of how we use your personal information we will update this privacy notice from time to time to reflect any changes to our use of your personal information. We may also make changes as required to comply with changes in applicable law or regulatory requirements. We may notify you by e-mail of any significant changes. However, we encourage you to review this privacy notice periodically to be informed of how we use your personal information.
